Why does a cyclist have to be serious to not ride bmx pedals with straps? It's ok on your bike, because, let's be honest, you're riding a 725 and people have stopped giving a shit about Leader-riders a while ago, realizing that most of them are idiots anyway. It seems like you fit that quota as well. I'll be awaiting your comment about how "serious" a cyclist I am and that you're just trolling, etc, etc.

To be honest, there are a lot of things that are impractical the irritate me, because I feel like this sport (cycling) can be fun, but it's just turning into a trend of buying things for it's popularity.

I tried those BMX pedals with the vel-cro straps and I could not get my feet into them so easily as I could with clips & straps/ clipless pedals. The only time I would ever use them is on a FGFS or BMX bike.

I think my all time favorites are:
- Ridiculously huge chainrings
- Saddles that point straight to the ground
- Unwrapped bars
- Legit track bikes being ridden on the road for street cred yo.

I will say one thing that does bother me a lot and that is seeing a chode stem on almost any build. Unless you are a tiny rider and have T-rex arms or have some kind of physical disablitiy that does not allow you to ride the correct length stem, is the only reason why I wouldn't be bothered.

Oh come on Josh, be honest. You have a problem with 95% of bikes posted in the LA bike pages, and many here as well.

Your perception is obviously disoriented in some way; I'm just going by what I see.
