I'm not a Zipp expert, but I don't think they're real. Aside from there being no dimples, who would lace Zipp hoops to Novatec hubs?! Look like the eBay Chinese special with Zipp decals slapped on.

I'm pretty sure those are novatec hubs. Which means they are a chinese unbranded carbon wheel set. DON'T buy those unless you want that kind of quality compared to zipps. Which is night and day.

Real Zipps have a dimpled surface like a golf ball.

Yee they're fake. Zipp used to make non dimpled wheelsets but that was much longer than 3 years ago. I think it was early 2000s when they stopped producing non dimpled wheels

The other give away that they are fake. The little sticker looking thingy around the valve stem has the Specialized 'S' logo on there.

thats actually a valve stem sealing tape.
its to help stop water from going into the valve hole.

Don't the genuine wheel makers put a clearcoat on top of the decals?

Absolutely fake. no doubt that is a Chinese unknown custom wheelset. I've seen it lots of in China, the quality is not bad, but if you wanna buy a real zipp then ignore that one.

Yeup. It is a "replica " of a Zipp wheel. You can buy it brand new for about 250 online and I know for sure its a replica because most of the companies use Novatec hubs for their carbon products.
