FS: 96 GT Avalanche Vintage MTB : Fresh Custom Build

This is a freshly rebuilt/restored 96 GT Avalanche 8spd, 17" frame.  The frame is hand brushed/polished.  It has a nice shine but with a bit of a machined look.  Most of the decals are custom except the NOS "GT" downtube, and "Avalanche" top tube decals.  The bike is a mix of new, NOS, and refurbished vintage parts as listed below.  The wheelset is NOS taken from a 1998 Electra Rocket that sat in my neighbors bike shop over 13 years!  This bike is very light, and rolls nicely down the road (with Kenda slicks).  I just changed the tires to 1.95 Specialized Hardrocks that are very lightly used, and in excellent condition.  The bike will be shipped with the Hardrock tires. This bike has only been test ridden around the block a few times for adjustment.
