I bought this saddle brand new two weeks ago, and also purchased a Brooks maintenance kit with proofide, a Brooks soft rag, and care instructions. I applied the proofide that it comes with on the underside (the dried white streaks you see are proofide; Brooks recommends you leave it on, unlike wiping it off when dry like the top).
Well, once you've applied the proofing to these saddles, you can't return them. So I'm dumping it at a big loss.
I've legitimately ridden this copper railed saddle once. It just doesn't look good on my Cannondale Capo, plain and simple.
