For sale is an original Nagasawa Special track bicycle, frame number 7 8510, denoting the 7th frame built in October 1985 by renowned Japanese frame builder Yoshiaki Nagasawa.
The frame was originally sourced from Japan via Yahoo! Auctions before being brought back to the UK, where it has remained in the current owner's collection for the past 16 years. The bicycle has recently been assembled using the components listed below. All parts have been carefully cleaned and polished and are in great condition. Only the Shimano Dura-Ace 7600 NJS cog and SOYO half grips being sourced to complete the build.
The wheelset was hand-built by a London messenger associated with the Maharishi-era fixed gear scene during the early 2010s. Built around a Shimano Dura-Ace rear hub and Suzue Grand Velo holographic front hub using Campagnolo Omega 19 rims, the wheels feature a distinctive lacing pattern and are a unique part of the bike's history.
