PHIL WOOD & CO JAPAN TSUNAMI RELIEVE LIMITED HUBS
In March of 2011, after the devastating tsunami that rocked Japan, Phil Wood announced that they were putting together a limited run of 100 pairs of hubs with proceeds going to the disaster relief effort. These hubs are modeled after the limited engagement of anniversary hubs (the 3.5 series) that were released 4 years ago – Cherry Blossom etchings, single-fixed, large flange, intricate cut-outs, larger bolt sleeve with a cog and lock-ring.
These hubs are new; they were laced but never ridden. They have a few small barely noticeable scratches however, none are so notable as to diminish the beauty and luster of these hubs.
These hubs are very LIMITED; only 20 pairs of this color were manufactured.
