Hi
What history has the frame? What injuries that were almost terminal and what surgical procedures ?
Cheers

i bought it in crap condition 4 years ago i think, since it hasn't got original fork i was riding it for some time. unfortunately seat tube needed to be replaced. so:
old, crappy, brush paint was taken, two small dents on top tube epoxy filled, st replaced and frameset repainted. it was waiting for tommasini air fork which i found not so long time ago.

that's the story from last four years. for some pics and more detailed informations hit me with pm.

cheers.

Might be stretching it at 1k considering the work done on this frame. Even so, it's still very beautiful, but probably for a bit less.

thanks, that's certainly a beauty.
since i've got it for quite time now i'm not into quick sale, so will see about lowering the price. maybe i'll just leave it hanging on wall.
for now it stays like that.

cheers,
kuba.

Thanks for reply - Why is it an "Olympic" and not just a Tommasini track frame?
Was the seattube replaced with a Columbus Air tube or something else?

i believe that's a common name for frames made by tommasini for bulgarian and ukrainian olympic teams, as yours in fact, to differ them from others.

since it's not real columbus air, but some other tubes (sl most likely but flattened by tommasini workers) i didn't have an option to replace it with original. it's columbus sl tube under the seat.

k.

Thanks for quick reply, I think "Olympic" is a misnomer. Mine is not an Olympic it was made in 1989-90 for Bulgarian National Team for World Track Championships. It was sold to me as " Olympic 1980 or 1984" - but lo pro's were not used in 1980 and Bulgaria along with other Eastern Bloc countries boycotted the 1984 Olympics. as it was made in 1989-90 it could have been used in 1992 Olympics time wise , but it wasn't.
Anyway you have a great looking frame which is in my opinion one of the best lo pros you can get. GLWS
