There are many reasons why this could happen, but the main reason is that your graphics card may not be powerful enough to run the program. In order to fix this problem, you need to do a few simple steps. First, go to your Steam Library and click on Settings. From there you can change the graphics settings for Steam. After changing these settings you will then need to restart your computer and try launching Steam again.I came home from work on a Friday night and saw that my computer was in a black screen. I tried to fix it but nothing happened. It was then that I realized that my computer had a steam issue, so I turned off the power and took out the hard drive to check if it was still in good condition. I put it in a baggy and put it in the freezer to cool it down. I then took it out of the freezer and plugged it back into my computer with the hard drive still inside. The next day when I got back to work, I was able to use my computer again!
