1980s Miyuki Road Bike

“Gazing at the Impossible” The youngest branch of the Konno family lineage. Perhaps the least known among vintage bicycle enthusiasts worldwide, and yes, rare as hen’s teeth just like its rooster logo. While Hitoshi (& Shin-ichi) Konno shaped Cherubim, and Yoshi Konno defined Cyclone/3Rensho, it was Shin (& Kaname) Konno who quietly carried the name Miyuki. In the 1980s and early 90s, people spoke of “the three Konno brothers” within the world of competitive cycling. Yet Miyuki chose a different path. While 3Rensho and Cherubim often pursued craft, experimentation, and at times the futuristic. Miyuki focused on something more grounded, practical, race-oriented machines, built with clarity and purpose. Less eccentric but no less refined. Miyuki is not loud. It does not demand attention. It rewards those who look closer. A bicycle not chasing dreams but quietly built to win within reality. “You may say we are dreamers… S. K. Y. Konno – T. Shimo Someday, you will join us”
