This is my Cannondale Black Lightning SR700 Criterium Series Geometry. Aluminum frameset with Tange Chrome Moly forks. Its been completely repainted and all the components have been upgraded. It is my Black Lightning with some Italian flare. I totally love this bike. Its super twitchy, real stiff and solid, and handles like a dream.

Lovely machine, well restored.
It's cool to be able to fit modern transmission components on a 30yrs old frame which becomes virtually immortal!

Awesome build! did you have to stretch the rear frame spacing to fit the hub?

I did not have to do that. It fits snug and no issues with shifting.

Replaced the stem and stem adapter with an Origin 8 stem adapter. Looks and feels much better now.

Fantastic looking build. I also had a great time restomoding my '87 Black Lightning. You just cannot go wrong updating a BL or keeping it all original for that matter!

Really lovely restomod, but dude, that threadless adapter + spacers + negative rise "pista" stem is killing me here

Yeah, I need to replace the stem adapter with a different one. Its sitting on my desk. Probably going on today. The guy that built it said the same thing. Thanks for the input.
