1988 Cannondale Black Lightning SR700

This is my Cannondale Black Lightning SR700 Criterium Series Geometry. Aluminum frameset with Tange Chrome Moly forks. Its been completely repainted and all the components have been upgraded. It is my Black Lightning with some Italian flare. I totally love this bike. Its super twitchy, real stiff and solid, and handles like a dream.

Frame:
Handcrafted Aluminum frameset with Oversized Aluminum Downtube and Oval Shaped Seatstays on the rear triangle. Part of the Criterium Series 3.0 Geometry.

Campagnolo Athena 172.5mm Crankset 52/36T Black / Campagnolo Power Torque English Threaded Bottom Bracket

Replaced the stem and stem adapter with an Origin 8 stem adapter. Looks and feels much better now.

Fantastic looking build. I also had a great time restomoding my '87 Black Lightning. You just cannot go wrong updating a BL or keeping it all original for that matter!
