1990 Trek 930 Singletrack

I've been looking for an old mtn bike to turn into a commuter/mellow tourer/pavement and sometimes gravel bike for a while now and just got my hands on this beauty. The original owner brought this into the shop I work at to consign it and I bought it from him on the spot. Aside from some paint rubbing and a few specks of rust, this thing is in amazing condition. All the original components work smoothly and are in great shape. I'd had these Jungle Runner bars sitting around for a while and was just waiting for the right frame to come along for them. After some new tires/tubes and a quick tune-up, I got just the bike I was looking for. Now I don't have to blow my savings on a Crust frame...

Nice job. I love the neo retro VO quill stem compared to all the janky quill to threadless stem adapters out there. I have a similar 930 waiting to rebuild but I could have sworn it was 1 1/8" like my 950...

Digging it! I've always loved these old lugged Trek Singletracks! I have the exact same 930, same size and color and I love it! Enjoy!
