1991 Trek Antelope 830

I wanted a project bike so I bought this for next to nothing and will be chronicling the rebuild into something functional for my fiance and myself to cruise around for fun. I still haven't decided what the final product is going to be, I have a lot of options. It was all stock except the WTB tires and the Profile bar extensions, which I think are awesome, haha.

I've owned one of these since it was new. Last summer the headset threads stripped. Any suggestion as to where I could get a replacement headset & fork? Want to keep the bike stock as much as possible.

That's crazy how close the color on those bars is to the frame. Nice work

Those bars are great. I remember buying a set for $1.99 at nashbar 15yrs ago.

My thoughts exactly! I originally wanted to throw the salsa cowchipper bars I have on there and drop bar convert it but they're so amazingly ugly that I might put on the fsa sl-k carbon mountain riser bars I have, re-attach those and use new mountain components.
