Acetone evaporates fast, but you still risk cracking the rubber. I would not recommend it.

The older ellipse didn't work for my 92 56' ct, the chain ended up hitting the seat stays. Ive been told that the newer ellipses end up clearing.

dont ever re-paint that frame dude!! those scratches and dings are components of the bike it self and they represent its age and beauty! super nice build!!

Love the frame and especially the color! Just thought about the Kagero in this color and the blog says "Oceanic Blue" for the new Kagero! Is it similar? ... maybe I need more space for a new bike ;)

Well... Ellipse wheelset is far lighter than my Phil Wood wheels, but PW hubs are %1000 superior.
