1993 Jamis Dakota 1x Cruiser

Forever project bike...one of many. A 90s bike with a 7spd shifter, an 8spd cassette, and a 9spd chain. What could go wrong?

Frame:
TIG welded Tange MTB double butted chromoly, 19.5"; Slightly sloping top tube; Has a beautiful rear seat cluster with integrated cable guide.

Fork/Headset:
1 inch threaded chromoly steel; Ritchey Logic headset

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Mid 90s Shimano Altus A10 crankset; Early 90s Shimano cartridge BB

Pedals:
Amazon special nylon platform pedals, light blue.

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Deckas N/W 36t Chainring; ZTZ 8 speed wide range cassette, 11-40t; Wolf Tooth Roadlink extender; Zonkie 9 speed chain

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Deore XT Mega 9 rear derailleur; Trusty 7spd Deore DX thumb shifter used in friction mode

Handlebars/Stem:
Wald 872 cruiser bar; Chromoly steel quill stem; Light blue ESI chunky grips

Saddle/Seatpost:
Kalloy seatpost; Black Globe saddle.

Brakes:
Tektro v-brakes and levers

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Wheel from an old Trek 4900; 26x1.95 unbranded Amazon cruiser tire, cream.

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Wheel from an old Trek 4900; 26x1.95 unbranded Amazon cruiser tire, cream.
