54cm 1980's Boeris

I can't remember when I got this bike so I don't have an exact year for it. According to my research the frames for Boeris racing bikes of this era were made by Guiseppe Villata and the bikes were usually equipped with Campy parts. This one was equipped with the Gran Sport group.

Frame:
Columbus steel tubing (back then there wan't a designation for the type, but I suspect this one was made from Columbus SL tubing as it is very light in weight)

Fork/Headset:
Columbus steel fork with "AB" engraved crown

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Campy Gran Sport

Pedals:
LOOK

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
6-speed Regina Extra/ Campy chainrings/ Sedisport chain

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Campy Gran Sport

Handlebars/Stem:
Cinelli 64-40 bars/ Cinelli 1-R stem (95mm)

Saddle/Seatpost:
Selle San Marco Profil saddle/ Campy Gran Sport seatpost

Brakes:
Campy Gran Sport

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Nisi tubular rim/ Campy Nuovo Tipo hub/ Vittoria Competition 700X23 tire

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Nisi tubular rim/ Campy Nuovo Tipo hub/ Vittoria Competition 700X23 tire

Accessories:
Alloy water bottle cages, "Boeris" water bottle, Benotto bar tape, New paint and decals (done by me)

More Info:
My dad picked this bike up for me when he was on a business trip to Italy. He worked for Fiat Agri/Hesston Corporation and Boeris supplied the bikes for the Fiat racing team. I had it painted Petty Blue a long time ago to match my Weigle bike but always regretted doing that, so I finally found time to restore the bike back to the way it was when I got it (or close to it).
