83 High Sierra Street Fighter

A street fighter is what I call a rigid mtb set up for riding on the street with a big gear and street tires. The term of course came from the advent of street fighter motorcycles, or nakeds, that are basically the new standard style set by JDM bikes in the 70s. Not the fastest, but not the slowest. Why build up a mtb for speed, when you can get a road bike? Why buy a street fighter/naked when you can get a sport bike, or sport standard? Because why not? Right now it's not together. I set the rear brakes wrong and they ate up the rear tires sidewall, and I installed the wrong RD. The bike started out all original, sans the tires. I intended to keep it mostly original, but restomod. As a daily things happened. I would like to get it powdercoated it's original color with new labels, and gold parts.
