If you haven't found an answer, I owned a 52cm Thunderdome and I could really feel how big it was. Should have looked at the geo chart before ordering. The top tube length was 55cm and I believe the 49cm frame fits more like a 52-53. I ran such a low seat post with my stem slammed and I couldn't get to my desired fit. I'm 5ft 6in.
Hopefully I can get my hands on the new mint colored ones since I think I bought one of the last 52cm frames off of Quality Bike Products, who owns All City.
