After I sold the Negri I needed a new Fixed Gear bicycle so I bought this as a full bike and after I got it I did some changes.

... that fork could be kinesis or isaac... check my principia rex for the road-d version... can't deny the similarities...

Eddy Merckx Gara Pista frames got the same forks, it is indeed probably Kinesis.

looks like a kinesis for me too. also most gara pistas come with alpina forks.

Yours is from 2008, this one is older, just like the older Gara Pista frames. They also came with these forks:

I dig the bike a lot! only thing is the flat pedals kinda throw it off. But none that less sweet build!

Thanks, I know what you mean, they're dead comfy though! Also got some SPD's that are on it more often.

Hehe no, Klaas Balk was a Dutch track cyclist who now has his own shop. Some of the early Balk frames were actually Eddy Merckx's! This one was made for the previous owner I bought it from. It has crazy profiled Alu tubing, I think columbus.
