After a month i removed the brake, but its getting hard on my knees. Any advice on ratio change? Not too many climbs on my commute.

Hurting my knee from skid breaking, my left knee has had ACL surgery 2 years ago and to be honest, I did not take rehab as serious as I should have. I started riding everyday when I moved to Portland, Or but never road fixed until I moved schools and got into track(velodrome) racing and just started riding(street) a Mash because the frame was handed to me my bike shop owner, so I never road brakeless until a couple of month ago and my left knee is filling thrashed sometimes. This also could be riding minor hills each day but nervous about continuing the resistance technic. I hope that came out correctly.

His knees hurt because hes using his legs to stop which cause alot of stress on the knees and it wears out your knees over time. Dont get rid of the brake, because "it doesnt look good" thats so fucking dumb. Save your knees and have a brake, doesnt mean you cant still skid stop but use the brake in situations were you need to stop on a dime. I have heard way too many stories of guys who have knee problems and have trouble riding period. This a great build and a BRAKE doesnt ruin it........if you do ride brakeless then good for you but its not for everyone and it really shouldnt be done in my opinion.

you were very correct on flipping the stem. I have been putting in a good amount of miles and its working very well. You saved me from purchasing a zero degree stem. I just had to thank you.
