You can always get SG75's and DA cranks which I'm pretty sure the guys @ EAI for sure designed the frame to fit considering they're the #1 distributor of those sets in the states.

I ended up swapping the Omniums for some All City's, no clearance problems and they spin smoother. Now if the frame would fit.

I have the same problem on my kagero with the cranks hitting the frame. I lost some paint because of it. :[ I feel like its a problem on srams end, since many others have experienced this with omniums.

Yikes! crankarms hitting the frame! Can only be BB flex or "soft" crankarms. Check the paint at the BB welds.Of it's flexing the paint will be cracking. Most likely the cheap crankarms. Go with real Dura ace. Pricey but strong.

I don't know if I would call the Omniums cheap. I'm about 170 pounds but I don't think I could flex the actual arms enough to hit them. Steel has very elastic properties for being a metal so may well flex enough to just nick the chainstay.

The hell? Uhh, negative. Sometimes cranksets just aren't compatible with certain frames. I know a guy who had to shave some of the back of his Omniums because they were hitting his frame. Same problem?

I was working off the word "occasional hits". Sounds like frame flex. Constant hits would be a fitment problem. But either way the spacer sounds like the way to go if that will solve the problem. And the crankarms that flexed for me(and eventually broke)was a Campy. Costly parts can have flaws too.

Properly, no. Using the stand on a scale and hold the bike method I get right around 18.1 or so, right on par with my road bike.

OH, GOD YES!!!! I need a BK in my life. Damn poverty has been getting in-between myself and a bareknuckle for the longest time. Too bad 400 bucks was out of my price range 6 years ago. I would kill to spend on 400 bucks on one now.

Thank you, this is definitely a step up from my Leader and everything I think I could ask for in a frame. The fit and finish is top notch.
