if you plan on keeping this bike. which i would . i would recommend someone brazing on some fender mounts for you.
sks raceblade longs are great fenders. but your real wheel will slip under heavy load because of the washer type mounting device.

Yeah, that actually did happen to me during the bike's maiden voyage! The brazings would be a great idea as I probably convert this to a 650b touring thingamabob.
