A stubby stem looks aesthetically okay when it's an inch steel head tube but a stubby stem on an oversized road/track frame looks weird, especially with drops. The saddle height is fine, though this looks like a semi compact frame. And the Thomson setback post is equivalent to any normal post's setback. I really dislike the curved carbon fork though, I wish it was straight(but that's only my preference). I'm sure it rides nice though.
