Hercules Vintage 60s Singlespeed 700C

I got the frame kit from Ebay, but at that time I didn't know what size it is - 26 or 28inch. The seller neither. It was supposed to be a touring bike, as u can see at the not used mounts for chainring protection. I was happy after I tried out some 700C wheels - it worked out. But the rear dimension was something about 115mm. Pretty odd, but I found some hubs from Mailard, which had 110mm and some spacers included. The Rigida Chrina rim in polished is still the best and most honest choose for building up a vintage bike. With other high quality parts from BLB, Vittoria, Selle San Marco, MKS and NOS Brake levers from Alternburger, the perfect Vintage bike was finished!

Lovely bike with a great colour scheme. I particularly like the head tube lug lining. Had a Hercules in my teens although I don't remember much about it...
