Current Stage Info:

Final finished & got it built... been a long time coming.

IKIK the celeste bar wrap sticks out, but originally i was goin to use a pair of Victoria Rubino Pro's (celeste), but decided to take a chance on a different brand of tires. So far so good.
The Continental 4 seasons are grippy and the 23mm wide rim with the 23c tires give a nice supple ride with nice acceleration with the comfort of 25c+ tires

Thanks much, I'm loving it so far, I think I mighthave to go star shorter on the stem though, my other bike has a 120mm stem, but it has a steep angle, I'd fogot to take that into account for a horizontal even stem. So I think I'm going down to 100mm stem and its good.

Rdnt says:

So far so good, they roll smooth... Down side is they sparkle so it catches you eye when riding which can distract from the road;)
But seriously they are great, they feel heavy in the hand but spin like they weigh nothing. I'm glad I gave them try....

So did you like your rb 21s or your crononero low riders more? I just bent my 21s slightly from a recent fall, so im debating on bending them back or just getting the dedas.

Rdnt says:

I love the deda's, and I haven't gotten a chance to ride the th21s yet cause I'm still waiting on my spokes to come in so I can build the wheels up. But like the fact that the th21s tops are slightly longer before they drop into the bend, the dedas are stiff for sure and they fallen vibration very well, plus they are 31.8 so it fits the hands. Time will tell which I like better... I know nitro released some heat treated eh21s that are supposed to be stronger.... And I believe they too are 31.8 diameter, so you have that option too if you wanted to get silver bars again instead of black

Rdnt says:

I think I'm going to have to give those 31.8 diameter nittos a try after riding the rb021s for two weeks, they are to thin in my palms, causes a lil numbness ... But y do they have to cost 100.00 bucks, I need a sponsor;)

I can't wait either, I wish I had my rims.
Are the advance good?
This is my first time using anything other than Omniums...

I never ride on Primato crankset. From what I heard, Primato cranks is just as good as the Omnium.

Probably a Nitto NJ89 OS NJS stem like this http://www.tracksupermarket.com/index.p... will look very classy on this bike.. Just my 2 cents :) Cant wait for the final build!

thanks man.
that looks awesome. it would match the cancreek s-3 headset I'm eyeing. but I'm not sure they make oveersized(31.8 dia.) bullhorns in silver. deda makes the chrononero in anodized black which I have on my other bike... but if I could find oversized bulls then this is a yes to these. unless this comes in standard 26.0 clampsize

rapide

rapide says:

What i mean by os is the headtube clamp ( 1 1/8) njs stems we usually know like pearl/jag are 1" and threaded, but this is 1 1/8 (os headtube) and threadless, so this stem will suit your rb021 very well :)

That's why I'm taking my time.
I'm thinking low profile wheels, since I got deep wheels on my other one. But can't decide between the h+archtypes or the velocity fusions. Which makes hub holes a issue. 32h or 28h. Hopefully I get this done by end of August.... Your black one was sweet with the contrasting fork

Thanks! Well they're both really good rims but i've always been attracted more to h+son. The archetypes are really nice looking rims and lighter then tb-14's it can't really be beat!
