Top-tier model, produced in 1979 or 1980. Interestingly, Motobecane top models were usually equipped with Campagnolo parts, while this one has the top French components of the time, with a drillium Stronglight crank, Huret Success Titanium rear derailleur and Weinmann brakes. Called 'Motobecane C5' in Europe, it's American twin, also sporting a top-end model Columbus SL frame, is called 'Team Champion', and was often but not always equipped with Campagnolo components.
