Flatbar conversion day!
I loved this bike in it's original form but wanted to make it even more commuter friendly than it was before, I also felt like it was too similar to my steel drop-bar Rondo Ruut gravel bike and was hard to justify keeping them both.
I found a killer deal on the Rival 22 groupset and couldn't resist. Thankfully, going from 2x10 to 2x11 here will make wheel swaps a breeze, and they will both using Sram Rival 11-speed long-reach rear derailleurs which should help too.
I'm going to tweak the saddle position to extend my reach a tiny bit – and later this year – I'll have the Rival 22 cranks installed with a compatible press-fit BB (currently on backorder). I'm excited to reinstall the fenders too.
