SR Litage vintage Japanese road bike

Craigslist Frankenstein find. Oddly equipped with the elusive WTB / specialized RM2 flared drops and other weird, random parts. Re-built with mostly Shimano 600 tricolor and mix of vintage parts. Frame similar in design to the Vitus 979. Also built and branded for 3Rensho. This is the sort of bike I wanted as a teenager (except Italian...and with full campy)...

Frame:
Sakae Ringyo ‘Litage’ aluminum...bonded lugs

Fork/Headset:
SR litage fork / early Chris King 2-nut, threaded headset 1st gen (late 70’’s.-early 80’s)

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano 600 EX ‘arabesque’ / Shimano BB

Pedals:
Shimano Dura Ace

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Shimano ultegra/ 7 speed 13-24 / 52-39/ KMC

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano 600 ultegra “tri color” / same

Handlebars/Stem:
Cinelli 64-40 / ‘Allez’ pantograph hidden bolt (possibly dura ace)

Saddle/Seatpost:
Selle San Marco / unknown seatpost

Brakes:
Shimano 600 ultegra tricolor- side pull / Shimano 600 ultegra aero levers

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
/Mavic ma40 700c / Shimano 600 ultegra / Michelin pro race
