Overview: - Steel frame with lugs - Bolted seat stays and track end style dropouts suggest 60s/70s vintage - Serial is stamped onto a dropout rather than the BB shell, quite common in this era - Cottered cranks - Original tyre size 26 x 1⅜ ie. vintage English - It's a surprisingly large frame, 49.5cm seat tube but 57cm effective top tube - Some previous owner has done pinstriping by hand; the 'Miss Anne' label looks to have been added at the same time. This build was originally running a 700c wheelset. It's now back to the original wheels and whitewalls along with the white beautifully patinaed mudguards. My favourite features are the metallic green colour and the mudguard, it's just too cute. It's a nice ride, very cruisey and relaxed. There appears to be very little information online about the Viceroy frames. Chances are it's originally a department store bike, sold under several different brand names in different locations.
