Worthington Cyclocross Bike

Made by Monty Worthington in SoCal back in the 80s. Designed with a leather strap and intended to be a cyclocross bike - possibly the first purpose-built American cross bike. Worthington's dad was an aerospace industry worker and the bikes were built in their shed with a double top-tube design so they wouldn't break on drops and jumps. This bike was ridden with Steve Garro and The Mutants before being sold to someone in Seattle and rattle can painted. I bought it from him and put a handmade rack on it and some Nitto mustache bars and Evil lock-ons etc. Commuted on it over the summer, then passed on to another home.
