track is quoting the rules of the marketplace. The rules were set in place so the marketplace doesn't turn into "fleabay". if you want a best offer, I suggest taking it to eBay otherwise post a price and add OBO.

if you're just fishing for possible offers and just entertaining the thought of selling you're inviting low ballers. basically teasing.
put a price on it and and people will give you offers anyway. but more reasonable.
I'd say (if this is the bike in the authors pictures) the frameset is worth $600 with CK headset. Extra forks won't add to the value in my opinion as they can be left out..
