Velocity Deep Vs may not be as "cool" as they once were but are great rims. Laced to Phil Wood hubs using good spokes, they build a 100% bombproof wheel. A little on the heavy side, yes, but those wheels are as strong as Hell on steroids.

$325 is a decent price, assuming they were built by someone who knows what they're doing. I wouldn't necessarily say it's "one of a kind", though, as I've built that same color combo for several people over the years.

Ya I mean I agree there are better rims, but these do the job. The rims themselves are reflective black too so thats what made me believe they were "one a kind".

Better rims? Depends on the application. This wheelset will last for a very long time. I've used this same exact wheelset as a messenger in the streets of Philly, Los Angeles, SF, Oakland and for 9 years straight. I can't speak of velodrome or sanctioned racing application but anything other than that, like commuting, alley cat racing or courier work it's perfect for. Also the price is on point, kudos.
