Is this for track?
It's got a symmetrical spindle, so I would think it is more suitable for track setups yes. Although the cups allow for a few mm adjustment inboard or outboard so perhaps it is compatible with more than just track/SS setups.
I have only run this with modern Record Pista cranks, so I can only definitively speak for that setup. (Works brilliantly I might add... the adjustment in the cups allows you to really dial in the chainline).
