Scored this frameset for the price of a Campagnolo corkscrew! The frame was actually branded as a "Triumph," which was just a Raleigh rebadged for sale in the United States. The same frameset as their Team Panasonic and Record Ace 12 of 1984-85, so it's their top-shelf "off the peg" frame. Constructed of Reynolds 531 Competition tubes at Raleigh's Lightweight division. Beautiful windowed Prugnat S4 lugs throughout. I'm calling this build a "restomod" - 8sp Record from ca. 1992 with Synchro 2 indexed downtube shifters combined with UT crankset and Skeleton dual pivot brake calipers from ca. 2013.
