1987 Specialized Rockhopper conversion

We needed a bike for houseguests. Turned into another bike for me. I tried to integrate as many of the stock parts as possible.

Frame:
1987 Specialized Rockhopper in purple (or blue?)

Fork/Headset:
Stock headset and steel fork

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano FC-5603 triple crank, Shimano SM-BB7900 bottom bracket

Pedals:
Shimano PD-M540

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Shimano 105 (5600-era) drivetrain, 50/39/30t chainrings, SRAM 1070 10-speed 12-28t cassette, KMC DX10SC chain

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano 105 (5600) 3x10 speed shifters, FD-5600, RD-5600

Handlebars/Stem:
SR Custom alloy stem, alloy randonneur drop bars

Saddle/Seatpost:
Vetta VSA saddle, Strong alloy seatpost

Brakes:
Shimano BR-MT60 front cantilever brake, Shimano BR-MT61 rear chainstay U-brake

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
26"x1.50 Saturae rim, Specialized hub, Specialized Hardrock'r 26"x2.0 tire

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Forté TerraMax wheel, Specialized Hardrock'r 26"x2.0 tire

Accessories:
foam bar tape
