1989 Schwinn World (Racing Red) 25 inch/ 63.5cm c-t converted to a Fixed Gear/Single Speed/Commuter. This bike is in mint condition and set-up for commuting with a set of black plastic fenders with mud guards, a rear rack with bungee straps, a front headlight, a rear flashing light, bar end plug flashers, a mini frame pump and a "U" lock. Sold to David Low without the Brooks saddle.
Frame:
Made with lugged Hi Tensile carbon steel, top tube cable guides, forged dropouts with eyelets and a set of water bottle bosses on the downtube.
Fork/Headset:
A semi sloping crown with lugged Hi Tensile carbon steel blades, forged dropouts with eyelets. Schwinn approved chrome plated steel headset.
Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Sugino Super Maxy alloy cotterless crank, Schwinn spec'ed chrome plated steel bottom bracket
Pedals:
Vintage Campy Gran Sport pedals with steel toe clips and red leather straps.
Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
42 tooth front chain ring, 17 tooth fixed gear and 18 tooth freewheel. There are a lot of hills in Connecticut.
Saddle/Seatpost:
Limited edition Brooks Team Professional saddle in Maroon Leather with copper rails and large hammered copper rivets, SR Laprade alloy seatpost
Brakes:
Chang Star alloy side pull brakes with CoolStop Salmon brake shoes.
Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Schwinn spec'ed generic small flange front hub with quick release, 36 hole alloy rim.
Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Flip/Flop rear hub with 36 hole alloy rim

Cannondale Saddle bag, new brake cables and housings, black leather top tube protector, OnGuard™ Pitbull™ 5003 Standard U Lock, Planet Bike 'Freddie' fenders with mud guards, Ascent Rear rack with bungee straps and rear reflector, Cateye headlight, Planet Bike Taillight, Torelli Mini frame Pump, Stainless Steel Bottle Cage, Stanless Steel Klean Kanteen Bottle. I still have a new 27 inch Velocity Twin Hollow Front Wheel to swap over when I get a chance.
