1999 Novara Ponderosa

Old 26er I converted into a touring bike. Not sure what size this is. Originally a mountain bike, but the suspension was collapsed. I stripped the bike completely & built it back up from the frame. It had pretty much everything I wanted for touring: butted CrMo frame, 1-1/8" steerer, eyelets (though no midblade fork eyelets), long wheelbase, clearance for wide tires, 26" wheel size.

Frame:
1999 Novara Ponderosa, Tange MTB Cr-Mo butted

Fork/Headset:
Dimension 26" / FSA 1-1/8" threadless

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano Acera FC-MC371 / Shimano BB-UN55 square taper, 68 x 127.5 mm

Pedals:
unknown

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Microshift 11-32 cassette, 10 speed / 42/32/22 chainrings / SRAM PC-1031, 10 speed

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Deore II FD, (this group http://velobase.com/ViewGroup.aspx?GroupID=e11d1abc-2081-4950-b8b5-e026293c83d5) / Deore RD-M530, SGS / Microshift bar end shifters, 10 speed

Handlebars/Stem:
Giant Connect (90 mm reach, 130 mm drop, 420 mm wide) / XLC, 75 mm (?), 35 deg (?)

Saddle/Seatpost:
Bontrager saddle

Brakes:
Tektro Oryx cantilever, black / Koolstop Thinline pads / Ultegra 6600 brifters, 3 x 10 (brake levers)

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite / Shimano Deore M525A / Bontrager H2 2.0"

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite / Shimano Deore M525A / Bontrager H2 2.0"

Accessories:
Axiom rear rack / Nashbar front rack / Blackburn fenders / GT front cable hanger / Massload (?) double-legged kickstand

More Info:
I needed a lot of steerer & a very short stem in order to make the bars comfortable. The top tube is much longer than all my other bikes, so I need to reduce the reach in other ways to try & replicate what the bike would be like with flat bars. Dimension 26" Mountain Fork 1" Threadless 260mm Black - axle to crown: 395 mm - steerer length: 260 mm - tire clearance: 2.4" - rake: 45 mm

Thanks. Putting it up for sale since my back didn't really appreciate the top tube being so long. It's just short of ideal. Should've kept all of the steerer. Someone else might appreciate it as a Long Haul Trucker-killer.
