'82 Puch Meteor Luxe

When my Kilo got stolen, my aunt was kind enough to give me this Puch that had been sitting in her basement for years so I didn't have to spend the summer without a ride. That being said: I hate this bike. It weighs a ton and the bottom bracket sounds like the tin man running the 100m sprint. I've thought about making her a single speed. It's hard to justify putting more than $75 into her. We'll see.

Frame:
Puch Meteor Luxe 4130 56(?)cm

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
rusty, corroded, loud, horrible

Pedals:
will cut and bruise your shins

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
dodgy

Derailleurs/Shifters:
front derailleur is for decoration only

Handlebars/Stem:
road drops that looked cool in 1982. grips: bob saget's old socks

Saddle/Seatpost:
first thing i should replace.

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
super rusty

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
rustier than the front wheel

this is in pieces, locked up in my hallway now. Anyone in NYC know what to do with a junk bike? anywhere good to donate it?
