More Info:
The kid I bought this from was at least 6'5", had this set up with a setback Thomson with a good 9-10" of post showing and the most ridiculous riser stem I've ever seen. When I told him the bike was made for someone 5'8" at most, he was astonished that bikes came in more than one size.
Needless to say, he was not a cyclist.

I'd love to see it with a matching Thomson stem. Nice bike all the same.

I had one on there, but I didn't like the looks of it. If you've got a beeline on 26.0 90mm Thomson with +/-17° of rise, let me know.

Super dope pick up! I love the look of older bikes with modern group sets. Thinking of doing that to my Bianchi sometime soon.

If that Chorus group is original to the bike, I'd keep riding it. Looks super hot right now as is.

Thanks man! Yeah all original gruppo besides the chain. No real problems with it and I'll probably keep it on there till something fails but sometimes I really wish I had a compact crankset and bigger cassette for climbing.

did you have a problem with cross chaining? the bb on my shimano 105 5800 kit pushes the cranks out too far

Chase the threads in your bb shell, you're probably not seating your bottom bracket all the way in.
