Cinelli MASH Bolt 2012 - Toronto Fixed

Two months in the making, and painstakingly sourcing selective parts for my build, the Cinelli Bolt is finally put together. My first official full build has gotten me excited for the upcoming summer months. I had the opportunity to take it out at the Forest City Velodrome this past Sunday for its first ride, and damn it was fast. Theres one thing about buying a bike already built from a showroom floor, but to select each part personally is another story. And as we say here at Toronto Fixed… “ Drink beer. Make friends. Ride bikes.” Check out more info at www.torontofixed.com

Yeah its a little something my good friend Doug started in the summer, and i've been helping him grow the community. Its super fun to get out with a group of guys/girls who just love riding. Dont be jealous! Start up something in your community!

i wish i could, but cycling culture is almost non-existent here in central Illinois.. not enough places to ride and the wrong demographic of people

I really like the third pic, where the omnium is focused and there's the blurry cinelli logo in the background. Just beautiful.

Super clean build. Is the a track in Toronto? London? I've been meaning to get up to the one in London..

newnoise1024 says:

Its the Track in London, Forest City Velodrome. It's a smaller track, but its volunteer run and so much fun. Great crew of guys there.

dietrootbeer says:

Rad, I definitely need to make it up there. The guy I bought my LOOK from rides there pretty frequesntly (I think he has a carbon Kalavanka now) and speaks very highly of it. As soon as my Coltello is done I'm gonna make it happen.

newnoise1024

newnoise1024 says:

Haha no way! we saw him there, had had a disk rear and fast forward 5 spoke front. That build is so sick. Let me know when you head that way maybe we can get a crew together

i like it. i had to LOL at the ATAC's on the track though. hah

Posted about 11 years ago

newnoise1024

newnoise1024 says:

Thanks! Why the LOL? haha, they worked well, i love them.

Posted about 11 years ago

outofstep

outofstep says:

it's more sensible to use road pedals since they have a wider platform, and road shoes have stiffer soles which would work better on the track given that can't sacrifice power transfer

Posted about 11 years ago

newnoise1024

newnoise1024 says:

Yeah i know, i have Specialized Elite Road shoes with Ultegra pedals, but it didnt really fit the build. I also like the idea of being able to walk around comfortably :)
