i'm curious about that crank..which one is better capy record or superbe pro? anyway great build!

I'm not sure either is better per se. If you are referring to the old Campy Records (i.e. not c-record style) they aren't as stiff as other track cranksets.

sweet one.

Thanks! You have a heck of a collection. I see you have a Rickert. I suspect my steel track frame of being a Rickert.

hard to say...often there is an "R" on the seatstays, but you never know....

Mine has no markings. It being a Rickert is just a wild guess. The Campy ends are drilled and I've seen some of his other frames like this.

interesting that "rickert" is a name over there. he was perhaps one of the top 3 in german frame building..

I believe he lived in the states for a while.
I see you're from Essen, I believe I passed through there on my way to Berlin from the Netherlands.

Thanks, it definitely pops a lot more now. I was afraid of a John Deere vibe at first, but I like how it turned out.

Awesome bike you got there. Where did you find it?
Posted over 11 years ago
Seatle Craigslist. Sent an email asking if they would consider shipping it. A week or so later it was at my doorstep :)

Lucky you. I'm so jelly. Well, let me know if you ever want to get rid of it.
