nice bike.

also bike fitment has nothing to do with inseam, use a fitment calculator and base frame size off recommended top tube length.

Nice! I'm planning on getting the frameset but i'm not sure what size to get. How tall are you? i was planning to get like 52cm-55cm or something

Posted almost 11 years ago

iunknown808

iunknown808 says:

I am 5'11 and this frame is a 55cm

Posted almost 11 years ago

KevinN

KevinN says:

did you randomly mount the seatpost on it or did you align it already?

Posted almost 11 years ago

iunknown808

iunknown808 says:

For now I just tossed it on there for now and all the technical things then my bike is complete.. And want your height?

Posted almost 11 years ago

KevinN

KevinN says:

I'm 5'8 and yeah i'm pretty sure the 55cm may be too tall for me so i might just get the 52cm, i just don't want my seatpost to be slammed or pulled up too much LOL

Posted almost 11 years ago

iunknown808

iunknown808 says:

Yes I do agree with that size for you... I even think that the 55 Is a tad to big for me because my seat post looks slammed :( n I don't really like that.. I rather have more seat post showing but I gotta live with it...

Very nice build ! Super clean. I agree with Milc, the drops on the deda is too low for me too. Good luck with your build, can't wait to see it completed !

thanks! but also I uploaded more pics! almost built!

Milc

Milc says:

Seems like a cool build brotha. As far as constructive criticism goes, clipless pedals will make your life so much better. There's so many spd sneakers and mtb shoes if you don't want to walk around like a duck (did that with my bianchi) and maybe different bars. I've tried out the deda pista and they're too low for my tastes. Shallower drops lets you lower your stem more.

Well actually being a high school student and not that much money to offer tp this hobby im guessing this is a pretty good build.. I had a few good deals on the parts I've gotten... N i was actually thinking about clipless but like I said just a high school student... Almost getting a job to support this hobby. and ill make some changes to this bike in the future.. And I Love your Bianchi btw

Thanks and these frames for now are limited and sold by pre-order... But what type of seat post do you recommend?

Posted almost 11 years ago

Kevin_R

Kevin_R says:

Sorry I meant I wish it had one of those wide integrated seatposts, lol, and for the price these look really well built. I'd go with a carbon seatpost, FSA SLKs look good
