Hugh Suter Enochs (December 27, 1941 – September 28, 2023) was a frame builder that lived in the Bay Area. He had worked at Velo Sports in Berkeley, where I think my friend D.R. worked at, and I'd like to imagine that it was that connection that he ended up with this frameset, which he bequeathed to me when he graduated from Cal after my freshman year. My limited results after researching on Google lead me to assume this is either his 94th frameset (serial number 94), or he made the frameset in 1994 (though it would've been stamped with a "'94" or straight up "1994", so who knows), or perhaps it was his 94th frameset made in 1994, or the 94th frameset was coincidentally completed in 1994... Mr. Enochs seemed to have made a lot of custom framesets for people. This one still has the original black paint with silver flakes in it. One word kept resurfacing: "Jevelot", which could be the name of the frameset, the shop, or the brand Mr. Enochs sold the framesets under. Not sure if it should go in the title, and despite sound like a biblical name, appears to be a made-up word.
