Nice bike.
I am thinking to buy this frame and mount a flat handlebar and the Shimano DI2 XT group.
But as lw76 and planet X is saying, the frame do not support DI2.
Do you know what finagling your mechanic did, to get the DI2 mounted on you bike?

Yes thanks, please ask.
It would be very helpfull.

Are you still happy with your bike?

rrooster says:

Yeah, definitely. Once I got it set up (adjusting fit, changing the cables, etc...) its been a dream ride. Real smooth, real responsive, and the 1x setup has actually proven easier on my knees.

A good thing about your knees.

I think I have read in another forum that the size of the frame is a little off.
Can I ask about your experince with the frame size?

I find the geo to be perfect for me. Its basically the same geo as the road bike I had previously (the greek spooky) but with a slightly slacker headtube; 72.5 instead of 73.5.

Where did you put the Di2 battery? According to On One, Space Chicken is not Di2 compatible, so I was wondering if the Di2 cables can be internally routed to e.g. the seatpost.

rrooster says:

Yeah, its weird because they sell a Di2 kit for the space chicken but officially its not supposed to be compatible, but other than a bit of finagling getting the cable through the driveside chainstay (my mechanic said that was the only sticking point) everything seems to work fine. The battery is hidden in the seatpost using a ritchey battery mount: https://us.ritcheylogic.com/us_en/bike/...

Where the hell did you find those shifters?! I'm stoked to see this built up!

I had to order them from a British online shop, they stopped selling them in the US (otherwise I'd have gotten them from my LBS). I saw them originally on this bike:

https://www.gravelcyclist.com/bicycle-t...

I'm pretty stoked, the plan is to have two sets of wheels (700c and 650b) with 48x11-36 gearing which should do me just fine for most scenarios.

No shit? I shoulda picked up a set while I was in the UK. In any case, get it built and posted!

IMO this needs some Paul Klampers in orange/silver.

I wanna put the klampers on my fatbike, for this I'm debating between the Juin Tech GT-F brakes (if they ever release them in the US) or the TRP Hy-Rds.
