How do you love the Mezcal ?

mankkis says:

Well, I wouldn't say I love them but they are pretty good. Nice balance between a full plus size tyre and a regular mtb-tyre. They roll decent but are a bit too overtreaded for gravel and then again undertreaded for trails. I'm still going to use them on my next build for sure!

I think you'd be much happier with the RaceKings you had on your old Evasion for allround riding!

Did you fit those 50mm tires on 700C wheels? If so, wow - major clearance! Cool!

mankkis says:

Yeah, the Mambas are 50mm on the spot on 622x21 rims. Had to crimp the chainstays and fender clearance is minimal but yeah, they fit.

Hello there! Thanks man! It's impressive what this bike can take! I might give it ashot with bigger tires now that I know they fit on the stock wheels that come with the bike! Again, thanks!

Nice bike :) mankkis, how tall are you? Does 59size fit you well?

mankkis

mankkis says:

I'm 182cm tall, pretty basic proportions. The 59 fits me great but would consider a 62 for a 650b conversion if the bb would drop a bit for better standover. Could fit a bigger framebag that way and get rid of the custom 38mm spacer under the stem.

Magic and wizardry. Just play around with screws and spacers and you should make it.
