Looks much better with the new wheelset!

lol. No injuries, happened on a snail's pace climb. Gonna stop messing with weird old bits and get my local dude to build me some modern stuff for this one.

Yeah man, that's a good call - wheelset is one place you don't want to play around!

Nice to see a Gettin' Hungry stem out there. Might have to snag one for my Merckx.

I've got one on a track bike and one on this at this point, and I gotta say I'm a big fan. Their seatposts are gorgeous as well, imo.

Nice.
I have the seatpost but can't find the stem in stock anywhere in the US. Where'd you get yours?

They got themselves a sweet-ass webstore now! https://sim.works/
I also have a friend who ordered their stuff through King Kog in Brooklyn for a while before they set that up.

Yeah, but $25 shipping... ouch!
Might have to see if I can special order through King Kog, Box Dog, or somewhere.

Oh, yeah that bit is definitely not great, though I guess I didn't expect shipping from Japan to be cheap.

I vote for a nicer saddle, too

Strange days, when a flite is considered shitty.
But: it squeaks something fierce for some reason, so this'll probably be happening.

In fairness this was I think when I had the Flite Trans-am on it, which is arguably comfier but also arguably uglier. It's on my tourer now lol.
