SOMA Mini Velo

I have been in love with the mini velo since Japan 09. Alas I am 6' 3" but stubborn. This bike is my third try and I think it fits me pretty well. Previous attempt was Bianchi MV [ My wife LOVES it. ] and a Bigshot fixie polo bike. both of which I will get on here some day.

Frame:
Steel is real. Tange, welded. Ugly maroon color. 55 cm. not big enough but biggest they make we shall overcome.

Fork/Headset:
Steel , welded unicrown / Tange-Seiki RDC 1” threaded headset

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Sugino RD 53-39t crankset

Pedals:
Who cares ? Some kine of generic Japanese SR they were OK but I put on Campagnolo BMX 's

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
- Shimano Tiagra HG-50 11-25 9-spd cassette Steel chain.

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano Tiagra derailleurs & barends

Handlebars/Stem:
Generic Soma road drops, aluminum./ Kalloy quill stem. Too low replaced with Soma Stem Riser - Replaces stock 1" quill stem with 11" tall threadless stem adapter and a threadless stem on top.

Saddle/Seatpost:
- Cardiff Cornwall brown leather Saddle, now is Cinelli black plastic drilled. ProMax extra long seatpost wasn't extra long enough so I put in a NITTO 27.2 mm

Brakes:
IRD Cafam Cantilever Brakes with Soma road levers

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano Tiagra hubs (32h) - Kenda Kwest 20 x 1-1/8” tires

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano Tiagra hubs (32h) - Kenda Kwest 20 x 1-1/8” tires

Accessories:
Monkey Electric M 210 X 4 = 40 LED . 20 front 20 rear. I OWN THE NIGHT. and a kickstand.
