Do you have any spacers with those omniums? Does it fit fine without it?

Posted about 11 years ago

EpicMushroom

EpicMushroom says:

They fit fine without them, I was kinda scared about putting them on also, as quite a few people said they hit on this frame or the EAI Bareknuckle. But this frame cleared them just fine.

SillyGoose says:

Hmm. How much clearance do you have? By the crank spider and the edge of arms to frame? I have this exact frame in red, looking for new cranks.

EpicMushroom says:

As this frame doesn't have any cranks on them right now, I really cant give you the exact number, or even a proper estimate at that. I don't remember them being too close so i would say around a centimeter. That's probably my best guess.

Hey man. I have a few questions. I have kagero and I was just wondering how you like this thing? And considering the size of my bike. Would you recommend a 54 or a 56 for me? Cheers.

EpicMushroom says:

I rode a 53cm Kagero and this 54cm fits like a 55cm. I was over riding frames too small for me and I would say this frame fit me just right. I'm 5'10. The bike really isn't made for street riding (try to make a u turn and eat it.) The bike itself was my first steel frame so i really enjoyed it. It's lighter than it looks and the paint on these things are sweet. If you were looking for a modern take on an NJS bike id say pull the trigger. Theres not many bikes out there in this price range that can compare.

Cool thanks. What about this frame makes it not good for the street? Just toe overlap and pedal strike?

Toe over lap. Literally half your foot is over the front wheel. haha

It's honestly the only bar i can use haha. The bars are so comfortable and supply the perfect positions for my hand. They also happen to look very good on all the bikes i have put these pair of bars on.
