Got this frame for free after it had been sanded down, figured out through the serial number that it is a rocky mountain whistler

Current Stage Info:

Swapped to these nittos I had laying around as I was finding the towny bars just a little too cruisy. These old mtbs really don’t lend themselves to a nice riding position with flat bars, even with a short little stem. Maybe I am just used to the cruiser bars at this point but the flats give such an aggressive feel and I don’t love it. Really want some kt800s whenever magic restocks em, something with nice rise and backsweep should make this setup feel perfect.
