I'm 6 ft tall as well and i was really considering getting the Kagero. I'm assuming you got the large (55cm)? Was it too small?? Your feed back would help out a lot.

Though it's a 55cm the bike feels more like a 57cm. My only concern was the foot spacing from the front wheel. sometimes my toes clip the front wheel under really hard cornering. the XL would probably fit you better but it just looks so bulky and unproportional to the 700c wheel size.

Okay thanks! This really helps a lot. Was on the fence about what size to get and i haven't seen any pics of someone with the XL frame.

Thanx. Really have been debating going with the leader i806 carbon fork to drop the front a bit and place the wheel closer to the bottom tube, but that's definitely going to fuk with the geo.

Yeah, the geometry of the frame actually has the seat tube a lot longer allowing a taller rider to sit much lower than usual, but the top tube is still that of a 55cm frame so I sit comfortably... But my toes clip the tire sometimes.

iminusd is where i also go to for parts... why don't you get the same frame just larger? or ask iminusd for a frame size switch?

BrandiSoN

BrandiSoN says:

They do frame size switching even if it has been ridden on?

try asking because one of my friends did it. Or they can always buy it back from you

Same geo as a MASH right? iminusd is awesome

pretty similar geo as the mash. I have read a bunch of articles and people are bashing the frame saying it's a copy cat, like Cinelli was the first person to ever make a low pro frame lol. I like it. Just wish the tubing was a bit thicker in diameter and maybe some definition on the tubing instead of just round.. ya know!

yeah haha this frame would be awesome if it cost $300 less :P

300 less would be great, but I don't see it happening. I'm happy with it. Full alum frame with carbon alum fork. legit. and it weighs nothing.

I agree iminusd is a really nice and clean shop :D.... I don't get why ppl hating and saying its a copy cat!! each frame and brand is different I personally think Kagero has a very clean serious look!

Yeah and the geometry is the only thing similar to the mash. This reminds me more of a Affinity Lo Pro.

oh I see. Yea a 58cm would be perfect for you... are you getting it from iminusd as well?

Posted over 12 years ago

BrandiSoN

BrandiSoN says:

Yes. iMiNUSD is where I will be getting the new frame from. I did not want the larger frame because it looks too obscure.. If that makes sense. It just looked ugly and bulky as most 58cm frames do. I have just been keeping my options open until insell it. Really likin that Raleigh "macaframa" frame with the leader i806 carbon fork with low rake!

Yeah! going to try a larger frame, or possibly a 725mid in seafoam!

PandaBear

PandaBear says:

What size are you shooting for? the 725 seafoam is clean. I like this leader kagero. I would buy it if it was a 53cm

going for 58. everything measures perfect for me. im 6 foot but the top tube is a bit too short, me toe hits the tire on hard corners.
