How is the chainline with Ellipse wheels and the Omnium crank? Is it quiet and straight, or did you have to shim the bottom bracket cups?

With the omniums and ellipses I didn't have to use any shims or spacers they fit perfect, the chain line is dead straight it's smooth and makes no noise whatsoever

Its not a super toughness its actually a Izumi Eco track chain and the color is Jet Black/Gold

Nice, but I don't think that's a Izumi Super Toughness chain. And why do you have your stem angled up? looks kinda weird. Just my Opinion. I'm not hating, just leaving comments.

And you should fix your saddle angle. Doesn't help riding if you're sliding forward off your seat. It can also cause unwanted pressure on your arms thus creating pain/soreness.

actually the stem isnt angled at all, its a 0 degree stem, so no matter which way i flip it its going to look like that, might be because i am taking an angled pic and leaning the bike

Thats kinda dumb that they made a stem like that. But then again, it is for mountain bikes.

Is this your Track bike? like the one you would ride at the velodrome? I noticed you have many track frames, so I'm just wondering if you decided that one is "track-specific"

I still want to know about that chain. The colors are backwards, usually the inner links are black and the outer links are gold. But your seems to be inner gold, outer black. Its weird. Is it a new version?
Posted almost 12 years ago
well i just looked up close on the chain and it says V so unless someone is playing a mean trick on me.... hahaha and i try to ride this one mainly on the velo but the velo being such a far drive i hate to see it sitting not getting ridden so it has to get some riding time on the streets for its proper loven.

Thats cool. If i had that many track frames, I would ride my favorite bike everywhere too. But I can't risk getting hit by a car on my Felt. Also, no offence but I am 100% certain that is not a Izumi Model V. You can up what they look like, or just look on my bike if you want. Where did you get it from? I would return it and be like "Hey! this isn't what I paid for!" (the chain is about $100 retail....)

to be honest dude, i aint going to trip out over it, when i bought my ellipses the LBS i got them from said they would throw in a free chain and al they had was a super tough so i took it... if its a regular evo with a v on it, well thats cool as well!
